Готова пятая - апрельская - подушечка. На этот раз дизайн из книги Blackbird Designs "A Schoolgirl's Work". Шила на 36ct linen (Light Honey by Nina), нитки подобрала по своему вкусу - Nina's Threads: Olive oil, Teal, Caramel, Prune, Charlotte, Cherry Blossom and Old Berry. Украсила кружевом от Нины, мне показалось, что для миниатюрной подушечки на 36ом льне отделка тканью была бы грубовата.
This is my 5th (April) pincushion for the Basket. This time I've chosen the design from Blackbird Designs book "A Schoolgirl's Work": Remember me, inspired by Ann York's sampler. I stitched on 36ct linen (Light Honey by Nina), with the treads of my choice: Nina's Threads: Olive oil, Teal, Caramel, Prune, Charlotte, Cherry Blossom and Old Berry. I also used Nina's hand-dyed lace for trimming (for a high linen count I think the fabric trimming would be a bit too much) :-)
